How to Get a Transfer from Athens Airport (ATH)
Pre-book in advance on the Happy Move App or website. Choose taxi (from €50 airport / from €40 Piraeus / taximeter other) or private transfer (€82 fixed any destination). Specify your flight number and destination.
Land at Athens International Airport (ATH). Collect your luggage from baggage claim.
Exit through the Arrivals hall. For pre-booked private transfer: your driver is at the meeting point with a name sign. For pre-booked taxi: your driver contacts you via the App.

What is the difference between the taxi and private transfer at Athens Airport?
The taxi is from €50 from the airport to the city centre — a licensed Athens taxi, price confirmed before you land. The private transfer (from €82) is a dedicated vehicle reserved exclusively for your group, with Meet & Greet name sign and full luggage handling. Both are pre-bookable with a confirmed driver.
Can I book a last-minute Athens airport transfer?
We strongly recommend pre-booking. Athens is a large city and last-minute availability for both taxis and private transfers cannot always be guaranteed at ATH. Pre-booking confirms your driver before you land.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track all ATH arrivals in real-time. Your driver adjusts automatically at no extra charge — for both taxi and private transfer bookings.
Can you take me from the airport to Piraeus Port for a ferry?
Yes — one of our most common Athens bookings. Airport to Piraeus is a private transfer — from €82. Please specify your ferry departure time when booking and pre-book in advance — Athens traffic between the airport and Piraeus can be heavy.
Can you take me to Rafina Port for Cyclades ferries?
Yes — Rafina is approximately 30km from ATH Airport (much closer than Piraeus). Private transfer from €82. Rafina serves high-speed ferries to Mykonos, Paros, Naxos, and Santorini. Pre-book to guarantee your connection.
Is there a cheaper way to get from Athens Airport to the city?
Yes — Athens Metro Line 3 runs from ATH to Syntagma Square in 40 minutes for €9. An excellent option for solo travellers without much luggage heading to central Athens. For groups, families with luggage, or connections to ports, a pre-booked transfer is more practical.
