  1. Scope of Application

    The company Happy Move, headquartered at Paros,Plateia Marmaron , Tax
    Identification Number 802060657, acts as the “Data Controller” of users’
    personal data in accordance with applicable legislation. The Happy Move App
    (hereinafter the “Application”) applies this Personal Data Protection Policy
    (hereinafter the “Policy”). This Policy constitutes a legally binding agreement
    between the users of the application, who are considered “Data Subjects”,
    and Happy Move, a Greek company (hereinafter the “Company”).
    You are advised to read the content of this Policy carefully before using the
    application’s services. Use of the Application implies that you accept and
    consent to the terms of this Policy. By accessing and using the software, you
    declare that you agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy, which
    explains how the Company collects and processes personal data received
    through the Application.
    This Policy applies to all users of the platform, including customers making
    transfer bookings, partner drivers or vehicle lessors providing services
    through the platform, as well as visitors to the website or the Application.
    The Company operates as a digital platform that allows users to schedule and
    carry out trips using passenger transport vehicles. In some cases, the transfer
    service is provided by independent partner drivers or vehicle lessors using the
    platform, while in other cases the service may be provided by vehicles owned
    or managed by the Company itself. In this context, the Company acts either
    as a transport service provider or as an intermediary between the customer
    and the associated transport provider.
    The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable
    European and Greek legislation on the protection of personal data, and in
    particular in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  2. Data Controller

    The Data Controller of personal data is the Company, which manages and
    operates the transfer booking platform. The Company is responsible for
    determining the purposes and means of processing the personal data
    collected through the platform.
    For any questions regarding the protection of personal data, users may
    contact the Company via the email address indicated at the end of this privacy
    policy.

  3. Collection of Personal Data

    The Company collects personal data when users create an account on the
    platform, make transfer bookings, or interact with the Company’s services. By
    registering with the application, the user expressly provides their consent to
    the processing of the following personal data.

    3.1. Identification and Account Data – Use of the Application
    When a user registers with the application or creates an account, they may
    provide basic identification details, such as their full name, email address,
    phone number, username and password, profile photo (optional), and other
    data necessary for the management of their account. In certain cases,
    additional identification details may be required, such as a Tax Identification
    Number, an official identification document (identity card, passport), etc.

    3.2. Data Related to the Provision of the Transfer Service
    During the use of the application, information relating to the trip and route is
    recorded, such as the points of departure and final destination, the date and
    time of the trip, its estimated duration, and other operational details required
    for the completion of the service.

    3.3. Location Data
    The application may use GPS location data from the device in order to
    determine the user’s exact position, the pick-up point, and continuous tracking
    throughout the duration of the trip (live tracking), with the aim of displaying
    available drivers and facilitating the execution of the trip.

    The driver does not have access to your personal data through the Application
    after the completion of the trip.
    The provision of the above personal data is a prerequisite for using the
    service and submitting a transfer request through our platform. This data is
    necessary for the provision of the service and is not optional.

    3.4. Payment and Transaction Data
    In the event that electronic payment methods are used (e-banking, iris,
    electronic bank transfer, etc.), data relating to the transaction and its
    completion may be recorded, such as the payment amount, the date of the
    transaction, and the selected payment method. Full card details are typically
    processed by certified payment providers and not directly by the company.

    3.5. Technical Information and Usage Data
    During the use of the application, technical data relating to the device and the
    operation of the application may be collected, such as the IP address, device
    type, operating system, and connection and logging information that helps
    ensure the correct functioning of the service. Search history data, data
    relating to your interactions with marketing and advertising campaigns, and
    other such information may also be collected.

    3.6. User Ratings and Reviews
    After the completion of a trip, users may have the option to provide ratings,
    comments, or complaint reports regarding their experience. This information is
    used to improve the quality of our services.

    3.7. Information Provided When Communicating with the Company
    In the event that a user contacts the company for support, complaints, or
    information requests, the company may process the contact details and the
    content of that communication.
    The data collected may include identification and contact details, such as first
    name, last name, phone number, and email address. This information is
    necessary for the creation and management of the user’s account and for
    communication regarding transport services.

  4. Use of Personal Data

    The company uses users’ personal data to provide and manage the transport
    services offered through the platform, in accordance with its Terms and
    Conditions. Data processing enables the registration and management of
    bookings, the connection of users with available drivers or vehicle lessors,
    and the organisation of the transfer.
    Data is also used to communicate with users regarding their bookings, to
    provide customer support, and to address any issues or disputes that may
    arise during use of the service.
    Data may be used to improve the operation of the platform, for promotional
    activities and advertising, for the development of new services, and to ensure
    the safety of users and the company’s partners.
    In certain cases, data may be used for fraud prevention, detection of
    malicious activity, or compliance with legal obligations imposed by applicable
    legislation.
    The Company operates as a digital platform that facilitates the connection of
    users with drivers or transport service providers. In cases where the transfer
    is carried out by independent partner drivers or transport companies, those
    partners may act as independent data controllers of the personal data they
    receive in the context of carrying out the trip.
    The Company is not responsible for the manner in which independent
    partners process such data after the completion of the trip, unless this is
    stipulated in the relevant cooperation agreement or by applicable legislation.
    The Company reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or delete user accounts
    in the event of a violation of the platform’s terms of use, illegal activity,
    malicious use of the application, or in cases where this is required for security
    reasons or compliance with legislation.
    In the event of account deletion, certain personal data may be retained for the
    period required by law or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal
    claims.

  5. Promotional Activities and Personalised Offers

    The Company may send you updates regarding offers, promotional activities,
    coupons, or other marketing communications, only where you have given your
    consent to receive such content. This consent may be given at the time of
    your registration with the application or at a later stage through the
    application’s settings.
    These communications may be sent via various electronic means, such as
    email, SMS, in-app messages, or push notifications, and may appear on the
    device you are using (e.g. mobile phone, tablet, or computer).
    The updates sent may be general, meaning identical for all users of the
    service, or personalised, based on your preferences and use of the
    application.
    To provide personalised offers, we may carry out analysis of certain data
    relating to your use of the application or the technical information of your
    device. Through this process, we can better understand the interests and
    needs of users and suggest services that are more likely to be of interest to
    them.
    The company may also organise competitions, promotional campaigns, or

    you have provided to us may be used in the context of that specific
    promotional activity, as well as for its promotion through the application or

    The processing of the above data is carried out on the basis of your consent,
    in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation
    (GDPR).
    In this context, we may process the following categories of information:
     first name and last name
     email address
     mobile phone number
     information regarding payment methods
     account creation date
     login and application access details
     information about the device you are using
     IP address
     application usage data, such as frequency of use, bookings or trips
    made through the platform, as well as pick-up and destination points.
    If you do not wish to receive updates, news, and personalised
    communications, you may withdraw your consent at any time. To do so,
    simply deactivate the ………………… option in the application. The
    withdrawal applies only to future communications and will take effect no later
    than 48 hours from the time of your action.

  6. Data Disclosure

    For the provision of transfer services, personal data may be disclosed to
    partner drivers or vehicle lessors using the platform. This information is limited
    to the strictly necessary data required for the execution of the transfer, such
    as, by way of example, the passenger’s name, contact details, pick-up and
    destination points, and GPS data from the device.
    The company may also disclose data to third-party service providers that
    support the operation of the platform, such as data hosting providers,
    technology partners, or payment service providers. These partners process
    data only in accordance with the company’s instructions and are required to
    maintain appropriate data protection measures.
    The company may disclose data to emergency services (such as, by way of
    example, the fire brigade, hospitals, the police, etc.) and to insurance
    companies (such as, by way of example, in the event of a road traffic
    accident).
    In certain cases, the company may be required to disclose data to public
    authorities or competent bodies when this is required by applicable national or
    European legislation, or when it is necessary for the protection of the rights of
    the company or third parties.
    In the event that data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the
    company ensures that appropriate protection safeguards are applied in
    accordance with the GDPR.

  7. Data Retention

    The Company retains users’ personal data only for the period necessary for
    the provision of services and for compliance with the company’s legal
    obligations. Data relating to transactions and invoicing may be retained for up
    to ten (10) years, in accordance with tax legislation.
    After the necessary retention period has elapsed, data is deleted or
    anonymised in a secure manner.

    The Company implements appropriate technical and organisational measures

    measures include, among others, data encryption, secure storage of
    information, and restriction of access to data to authorised personnel only.

    users’ data.
    For reasons of security, fraud prevention, and the protection of users and
    platform partners, the company may maintain activity logs relating to the use
    of the application, trip bookings, and interaction with the platform.
    This data is used exclusively to ensure the correct functioning of the service,
    to address security incidents, and to comply with the company’s legal
    obligations.

  9. Use by Minors

    Use of the application is intended for individuals over the age of eighteen (18).
    We do not knowingly collect or use personal data from individuals under the
    age of eighteen (18) without the consent of a parent or guardian. By
    downloading and registering with the Application, you confirm that you are
    eighteen (18) years of age or older.

  10. User Rights

    Users have the right to request access to the personal data concerning them,
    to request the correction of inaccurate data or its deletion where permitted by
    law. In addition, users may request the restriction of the processing of their
    data or object to certain forms of processing. Where processing is based on
    your consent, you have the ability to withdraw it at any time. Such withdrawal
    does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to the
    withdrawal.
    Users also have the right to receive the personal data concerning them in a
    structured format, so that they may transfer it to another service provider.
    Users have the right to submit complaints and/or file a report with the
    competent supervisory authority (the Hellenic Data Protection Authority).
